Sahlgrenska University Hospital
Sahlgrenska University Hospital (SU) is the largest hospital in Sweden and one of the largest in Northern Europe. With approximately 17,000 employees, SU operates across five locations in Gothenburg and Mölndal: Sahlgrenska Hospital, Mölndal Hospital, Östra Hospital, Högsbo Hospital, and Rågården.

SU’s mission includes providing healthcare to the residents of Greater Gothenburg, offering highly specialized care to the people of Västra Götaland and the entire country, as well as conducting research, education, development, and innovation.

The Center for Digital Health at SU adopts a comprehensive approach to research, development, and innovation in digital health. SU’s strategy is patient-centered, focusing on patients, employees, and workplaces. The goal is for SU to become Europe’s leading university hospital by 2032.

SU’s vision is to contribute to the Västra Götaland region’s vision of "The good life" through healthcare, research, education, development, and innovation of the highest quality. The core value is "Together - for the patient, with the patient."

In the NorDigHE project, SU acts as the national coordinator. SU has extensive experience working with mobile care and plans to take the next step toward "Hospital-at-home." It is crucial for SU that staff have access to effective training, enabling them to utilize new technologies and better assist patients.
